What is Forestry Mulching?
Forestry mulching is a land clearing method that uses one machine to cut and grind trees and brush, then spreads the mulch back over the area as it works. That mulch helps protect the ground, reduce erosion, and cut down on new growth—while keeping a natural, “woods” look.

Our mulching head can process trees and brush up to 8 inches in diameter for effective clearing. Unlike many other clearing methods, forestry mulching doesn’t leave big brush piles or burn piles, and it helps you keep the trees you want to keep.
Traditional clearing can disturb the soil by pushing trees over and pulling up stumps and roots, which can increase erosion. With mulching, the material is spread across the ground and can act as a protective layer. Over time, it breaks down and returns nutrients back into the soil. In many cases, grass can grow through it and the area can be maintained with mowing.
